Curently, besides some common transport, visitors from Hanoi to Halong have had one more modern and luxury mean of transport called seaplane from Hai Au Airline. There are two seats for the pilots and 12 seats for travellers with wide windows in the seaplane. It is believed to allow you to not only save time but also enjoy the beautiful landscapes and record the memorable moments of Halong Bay at the height of 150 to 3000m above the sea level.

Boats to visit Halong Bay 

1. Daily boats 

Visitors will buy boat ticket and entrance ticket separately. It’s advisable to hire a private boat if you go with your family or in a group. There are two types of entrance ticket including 4 hour tickets and 6 hour ticket. The boat hiring fee does not include entrance ticket.  

2. Overnight boats

There are numerous options of boats when you want to overnight on Halong Bay like 3 stars, 4 stars or 5 stars boats with different programs and service quality. 
While in a big boat, you will have chance to meet with different people, a small one can give you your private space.

During some programs last for 2 days and 1 night or 3 days and 2 nights, you will be immersed in the nature of Halong Bay. The boat will lead you to visit some caves, beaches, bath in the sea and kayak rowing. You can also enjoy some drinks while relaxing on the boat’s sundesk. If you are into Vietnamese cuisine, it would be realy interesting to take part in a cooking class. The chief will guide you to cook some Vietnamese dishes and you will be enjoying your own products after finishing them. After dinner is the time for relax or joining some night activities like catching cuttlefish or singing karaoke, etc. Getting up early in the morning to join the Taichi class in the wonderful sunset would be an amazing experience.
